CYBER COSTUME PARTS #1 - Raw Cast
From the deepest depths of the Delta Quadrant of Pirkleation's Productions "Borg to be Wild" Department comes another great costume accessory to make your cyber-dreams come true! Each piece is completely unique and handmade
Are you lacking something special for your costume? You know, those little extra bits and pieces that would really make your costume stand out and doesn't cost you an arm and a leg?
Here we have some of those needed extras that have been hand-sculpted and cast in latex, which makes it easy to attach to any Cyborg, techno, or any other type of costume you can think of.
What you would receive is a latex molded raw cast (unpainted, uncut) piece that includes a variety of cyber parts that can be cut out, painted and glued to your costume (or body part).
The picture that shows the painted parts have actually been cut, painted and set on the raw cast uncut matching piece as an example of how they could look. The colors used in the painted example are gold, silver and black, but you can use any color or color combination you want to match your costume!
Size of the raw cast sheet is approximately 9.25"L x 5.5"W. The height of the individual pieces vary up to approximately .25" (1/4").
Let your imagination run wild !!!
WARNING:
These pieces cannot be recast for additional use or resold without Pirkleations Productions explicit permission. Each piece has hidden 'tags' that we will recognize immediately. These are hand-sculpted individual items, therefore we hold all intellectual property rights to these pieces, either individually or as a group.
CUTTING HINTS:
When cutting out the individual pieces you CAN cut along the edge, but it might be best to leave a slight edge around the part for a larger gluing area. The latex may not be 'flat' on the back (because of shrinkage while drying)
PAINTING HINTS:
Black paint will make a great base to work with, then you can add colors on top. Some techniques are sponge painting, dry-brush, wet-brush.
GLUING HINTS:
The latex rubber can easily be glued to most surfaces with superglue. Contact cement will also work well with most surfaces, including some of the more difficult ones. Both glues will work great with ABS plastic armor and neoprene costumes.
