RARE DOUBLE HANDLE MINI VASE
MADE IN JAPAN

This rare and crudely made mini vase is most unusual. The base is hand painted in black. The scalloped rim and handles both have gold accent.
The body of the vase is painted an orange color with green leaves and two flowers. One flower is blue the other is red and both have a gold accented center.
There are bumps and the painting isn’t the best as you will see in the pictures. Perhaps that is why this is so rare. The quality doesn’t lend itself to what collector’s would normally value in a piece and most of these types of pieces are sadly discarded.
But rarity alone gives it value along with the design. It is broad in width but narrow in depth. A most unusual piece indeed!
On the bottom is a “JAPAN” stamp in orange.
